Friends
of the Devil is a live recording featuring some
of Montreal’s finest musicians in Blues like:
Angel Forrest, Jimmy James, Gina Seram, Jim Zeller and
Eric Khayat. Celtic music is also present on this album
with such artist as Jonathan Moorman and Nelson Carter.
For those who enjoy Rock music, they will be more than
served with the performances of Jerry Mercer of April
Wine and Breen Leboeuf of Offenbach. The album also
introduce new names like Pete Dogg, Manix and Robby
Bolduc. All these artists are performing with the master
of the acoustic guitar, John McGale. Recorded at Patrick
Huard’s and André Desrocher’s billiard
hall, located in Longueuil, Québec., this album
offers unique versions of Elvis, Stevie Wonder and Eric
Clapton songs within a relaxed and spontaneous setting.
